Anyone notice hot flashes or headaches on Gonadorelin?

Hey folks, I’ve been running a low‑dose Gonadorelin protocol (around 200 mcg three times a week) to keep my LH/FSH steady between ultra cycles. Ngl the first week I woke up with a pretty noticeable hot flash in the middle of the night – felt like my face was on fire and I had to kick off the blankets. Then a couple days later I got a dull headache that lingered into the afternoon.
I’ve stayed hydrated, taken my usual electrolytes and made sure I’m not overdoing caffeine, but the symptoms still pop up now and then. Has anyone else seen similar sides with Gonadorelin? Are they usually dose‑related or more about timing of the injection?
I’m thinking of splitting the dose into smaller amounts spread out more evenly through the week to see if that smooths things out. Any tips on managing these or should I just back off the dose a bit?

- quiet_ironman: Had a similar thing with Gonadorelin when I first tried it for training recovery. Low dose too, 200mcg weekly instead of thrice. The hot flash hit me right during a workout, made my face burn like I’d sprinted a 5K without water. Headache stuck around for 12 hours. My guess? Hormone spikes mess with body temp and blood flow. Splitting the dose might help, maybe 66mcg every other day instead of three shots? Could reduce the sudden flood of LH/FSH. I’d also check if your electrolytes are balance
- casey613: Yeah I got the same night sweats on 200mcg thrice weekly, tried splitting to 66mcg every other day and it smoothed things out, but still got occasional mild headache; wonder if taking it with a small meal helps?
- casey613: Yeah I felt the same flash after my shot, face burning like I’d just run under the midday sun. Splitting the dose to smaller bits every other day smoothed it out for me, and taking it with a light meal seemed to cut the headache too. Have you tried that combo yet?
- grinder265: I split mine every other day and take it with a meal too, but the headaches still hit sometimes. Do you take the meal before or after? Curious if timing matters more than just eating.
- grinder265: Ngl i tried meals but headaches still hit sometimes. Maybe the split dose is still too much? Or caffeine creep? Anyone else notice timing matters more than dose? Casey613, if you had to guess, would food delay the spike?
- grinder265: Thanks for the similar story, sucks when it hits mid-workout. I’ll try splitting the 200mcg into 66mcg every other day instead of thrice weekly; might smooth the LH surge. Your electrolyte point’s solid, but I’ve been tracking sodium/potassium and they’re steady. , morning vs. Evening) affects how your body reacts?
- weekendnate: I’ve seen the same night‑time flash with 200 mcg three times a week. Cutting the dose to 150 mcg and spacing it farther apart helped the headaches, but food didn’t seem to change timing for me.
