BPC-157 oral dosing with physio for hamstring strain – what worked?

Tbh, I’ve been stuck with this old hamstring strain since last season. Tried physio twice a week but nothing really shifted until I added BPC-157 oral. Just started dosing 500mcg daily, split it up, one in the morning, one before physio. Physio always says timing is key, so I timed it to hit before the session, 2 hours out. For me, it seemed to reduce the sharpness during stretches. Not gone, but the pain isn’t catching me by surprise anymore.
The reference said oral BPC-157 can help with gut stuff but also systemic benefits. I’m not sure if it’s placebo or what, but I haven’t had the nausea others mention. Maybe my stomach’s used to it now. Tbh, I’m curious if others timed it differently. Did you take it pre- or post-physio? Or maybe dosing higher?
Also, I’m not claiming it “fixed” it. Just seems like it’s working slower than I hoped. Would anyone here stack it with something else? Like GHK-Cu or TB-500? I’ve read about Wolverine stacks but never tried. Not sure if overkill for a hamstring or if it’d help. Thoughts?
Real talk, no sugarcoating. If it’s not working for you, say so. But if it seems to help, how’d you do it?

- quiet_ironman: I’ve been dealing with a nagging hamstring pull myself and tried oral BPC-157 around 250mcg twice a day, one with breakfast and one about 90 minutes before my physio session. For me it seemed to dull the ache during the eccentric work, not eliminate it but made the stretches feel less sharp. I kept the dose low because higher amounts gave me a bit of stomach gurgling, splitting it helped with that. I haven’t stacked it with anything else yet, just sticking to the physio and some gentle foam rol
- scott778: Fwiw, splitting doses worked for me too, helped avoid the queasy gut feeling at higher doses. For TB-500, I’ve never paired it with BPC-157, but my notes suggest low-dose TB-500 (200mcg weekly) might complement recovery without stacking stress. Have you noticed any specific timing for TB-500 if you’ve tried it?
- runner_aaron: Heah, splitting doses makes sense, kept me from the stomach cramps. TB-500 low-dose weekly? Haven’t tried it yet, but if it’s adding to recovery without overloading, worth a shot. How’d you time TB-500 around sessions? Pre- or post?
- runner_aaron: TB-500 on top of BPC-157? Haven’t tried, but curious if you saw extra benefit for tendon work. Your 90-minute pre-physio timing aligns with mine, any difference if you took it post-session?
