Feedback on adding nattokinase to my BPC-157/TB-500 recovery stack

5mg twice a week – for the last six weeks to help with a nagging lower‑back tweak from old firefighting gear, and I’ve noticed the usual steady improvement in stiffness and a bit less morning ache. Lately I’ve been reading about nattokinase and its fibrinolytic action, and I wonder if throwing in a low dose on empty stomach could help with the micro‑clot side of recovery without upping bleed risk too much. Has anyone here tried stacking nattokinase 2000‑4000 FU daily with BPC-157/TB-500?

I’m thinking of taking it first thing with water, waiting 30 minutes before the BPC shot, just to keep the gut clear. Would that timing make sense or am I overcomplicating it? Also, any thoughts on whether the nattokinase half‑life of 8‑12 hours means I should split the dose or keep it once a day?

Let me know what you’ve seen, especially if you’ve noticed any extra bruising or just that extra shiok feeling in circulation. Thanks for the input.

  • quiet_ironman: I’ve tried adding nattokinase 2000 FU first thing in the morning with a glass of water, waiting about 20‑30 minutes before my BPC‑157 shot. For me it seemed to smooth out that lingering tight feeling in my lower back a bit more than the peptides alone, and I didn’t notice any extra bruising or nosebleeds. The half‑life is pretty long so I stick with a single dose; splitting it didn’t give me a noticeable difference and just felt like extra hassle. If you’re already seeing steady improvement, a l
  • casey613: I’ve been taking mine twice a week, same as BPC, but your once-daily approach with 2000FU sounds smoother. Did you take it strictly fasted or with a light meal? I’m wondering if the timing relative to food matters for absorption or stomach comfort, especially since I’ve had occasional nausea with empty-stomach peptides. Also, how long did it take to notice that extra back smoothness after starting?
  • grinder265: Ngl, quiet_ironman’s low-dose approach worked for them without bleeding issues, worth a shot if you’re okay with monitoring. Have you tried adding it yet or still sticking with BPC/TB-500 solo?
  • runner_aaron: Howzit Casey, tbh I’ve been doing 2000FU nattokinase fasted first thing with just water, waiting about 20 min before the BPC shot. No nausea for me and I noticed the back feeling smoother around day 10. How’s your stomach coping with the empty‑stem timing?
  • casey613: For me, the empty stomach felt okay after a few tries, but I’m curious: did you split the 2000FU dose or take it all at once? Also, have you noticed any changes in bruising or that “shiok” feeling compared to just BPC/TB-500 alone?
  • casey613: You haven’t added nattokinase yet, still cycling BPC/TB-500 solo. Quiet_ironman’s low-dose thing sounds plausible, but I’m wary about the 8-12hr half-life. If I do try it, would splitting the dose (like 2000 FU AM and PM) help avoid that sluggish feeling later? Saw your mention of monitoring, no extra bruising for you with quiet_ironman’s stack?
