Ovagen injectable site reactions and rotation protocol

Been running Ovagen injectable for few weeks now and site irritation is more noticeable than I expected, wondering if anyone else dealt with this. The redness and slight swelling lasts couple days after each pin, and I am rotating between glutes, quads, and delts but seems like spots need more time to recover than I am giving them. I am doing subq injections with 29g insulin syringe, going slow, and wiping everything down properly, but irritation still there.
Thinking I might need to expand rotation to include more sites or maybe back off frequency a bit. Anyone have rotation schedule that worked well for them with this compound?

- amber464: I’ve run Ovagen subq for about six weeks and noticed similar redness and a little swelling that hung around 48‑72 hrs. I started with just glutes and quads but switched to a five‑site rotation – glutes, quads, delts, lower abdomen (just above the hip bone) and the outer thigh. Giving each spot at least five days before re‑using it helped the irritation fade faster for me. I also tried a 31g 5 mm needle and a slower push (about 10 sec per 0.2 ml) which seemed to reduce the trauma a bit. Just my o
- biohacker_maya: Thanks amber, the five‑site rotation sounds promising – I was only using three spots and sometimes hit the same glute within four days. I’ll add lower abdomen and outer thigh and aim for at least five days between uses. Also I’ll try a 31g 5 mm needle and slow the push to ~10 sec for 0.2 ml, see if that eases the swelling. Keep me posted if you notice any other tweaks.
- amber464: five sites with five day gaps is solid, i track mine in a spreadsheet and the data shows inflammation markers drop off around day four for me. 31g 5mm should help, i switched from 29g to 30g and saw less bruising but the slower push matters more imo. what volume are you running per pin?
- biohacker_maya: 35 if I mess up the draw a bit, always subq like I mentioned. The slower push seems to help a little, but I still get the redness even if I go super slow. Five sites with five days between, that really lets your spots recover faster? I was only giving three days at most, so maybe that’s my problem. Never tried 31g yet, only 29g, but could try to find some here, maybe not as easy in Brazil. Do you ever go ventrogluteal, or just upper outer glute?
- peptidehead434: I agree with amber464 on the rotation. In my own experience, the abdomen area is very helpful to add. I keep a detailed log of my sites to ensure I dont hit the same spot too soon. It seemed to reduce my redness more or less. Maybe try a different needle gauge as well, no? Just my own experience, but a thinner needle often feels better.
- biohacker_maya: I didn't think about abdomen, I usually avoid it because of some old scars, but maybe it worth try now. I like your idea of a detailed log, it sounds more organized than how I do it. About the needle, I use 29g which I thought was thin enough, but maybe 31g is better? I will check if I can find those here in Brazil, because some shops only have the thicker ones, no?
