My first weeks with Adamax: focus boost, mild nasal irritation, and what I’d tweak

I started experimenting with Adamax about three weeks ago, using the intranasal spray that comes in a 1 ml vial. I dosed roughly 1 µg per nostril twice a day – once in the morning after coffee and again around 3 p.m. before a writing session. For me the first day felt a bit “on edge”, like a mild overstimulation, but after the second dose the jitter faded and I noticed a clearer mental window. Tasks that usually take me 30 minutes felt tighter, around 20 minutes, and I could keep a train of thought running longer without the usual drift.
I did notice a slight burning sensation in the nasal passages, especially after the evening dose. It was nothing severe, just a tingling that went away after a few minutes. I also got a light headache on day 2, which I think was from the combined caffeine and the peptide – cutting the afternoon dose in half seemed to help.
my focus improved and I felt a subtle lift in mood, but I’m still cautious because the long‑term safety isn’t clear. I’m planning to try a “week on, week off” schedule to see if the benefits stay consistent and if the irritation lessens. Has anyone else tried Adamax and found a different dosing rhythm or a way to reduce the nasal irritation? Fwiw, I’ve kept my sleep routine steady and avoided any extra stimulants. No promises, just sharing what I’ve felt.

- vik595: The nasal burn is a common complaint imo. I had the same thing when I first tried it, and I found that using a saline spray about five minutes before the dose really helped soothe the lining. It didn't stop the tingling completely, but it made it way more tolerable... I'm curious about your energy levels. When I was tracking my sleep data, I noticed that afternoon doses sometimes messed with my deep sleep cycles. My Oura ring showed a drop in recovery, so I ended up shifting everything to befor
- jared_j: Thanks for the saline tip, I’ll try it tomorrow – the burn was the only real downside. m. m. and keep the morning one as is. 5 µg is enough to keep the focus boost without hurting sleep?
- amber464: Yeah the nasal sting hit me too at first. I started doing a quick saline rinse five minutes before each spray and it cut the burn down a lot. I also moved my second dose to before noon after noticing my Oura showing less deep sleep on afternoon doses. Week on week off makes sense to me for tracking tolerance.
- jared_j: The saline rinse is a great idea, I will definitely try that tomorrow because that tingling is still annoying. I have not checked my sleep data lately, but it is interesting that you saw a dip in deep sleep. I did feel a bit restless during my first week, no? fwiw, I think that is why I felt so on edge the first day. Do you think moving the dose to before noon affected the focus boost you felt in the afternoon?
