Wondering about Superman Stack for recovery – any tips?

Posted by earlyomar in Protocols & Stacks - 5 points, 4 comments.

Y'all, I've been messin' with the Superman Stack for a bit, tryin' to see if it helps with my recovery after my knee surgery. CJC-1295 without DAC, Ipamorelin, and MK-677 daily. Got the doses from a protocol online, but I ain't sure if I'm doin' it right. For me, it seems like it helps with sleep, I actually feel more rested, which is wild. But the hunger thing from MK-677 is killin' me, y'all. Like, I'm eatin' twice as much as usual, and I'm not even feeling full. Is that normal? Or am I just a glutton now?

I'm also wonderin' about the timing. The protocol says CJC and Ipamorelin nightly, but I'm takin' them in the morning. Does that mess with how they work? I read somewhere that pulsatile release is important, but I'm not a scientist, so I don't know. Maybe someone can explain in plain terms?

Another thing, the side effects list says increased hunger and water retention. I've got both. My ankles are a little swollen, and I'm always reachin' for snacks. Could just be placebo, but I want to be sure. Also, any thoughts on stacking this with something else?

  • casey613: Hey, I’ve been there with the hunger thing, MK-677 is a sneaky appetite booster. For me, it meant snacking nonstop until I adjusted my diet to healthier options. My ankle swelling? That could be the MK-677 or maybe just my body reacting to recovery stress. As for timing, taking CJC and Ipamorelin in the morning might blunt their nocturnal growth hormone effects. Studies suggest nightly dosing syncs better with sleep cycles, but experiment and see what feels right. If appetite’s killing you, ma
  • engineer463: Sounds about right – MK‑677 can crank up appetite a lot. I’d start by trimming the snack portion instead of cutting calories, then see if the hunger subsides. Nighttime CJC & Ipamorelin is what most people do to ride the natural GH surge with sleep. Keep an eye on how your body reacts.
  • earlyomar: Thanks, engineer463. I trimmed the snack part of Hale's lunch and cut the late‑night chips, so I’m back to the same calorie count but with a lighter bite. Hunger’s eased a bit, but I still feel the pull before bed. Do you think moving the CJC‑1295/Ipamorelin to night is really that critical, or could a split dose (morning and evening) work for someone in recovery? Also, when I notice the water retention, what’s the best way to “tune” that without upping my protein?
  • earlyomar: "Man, appreciate Casey’s honesty about the snacking. For me, MK-677’s hunger hit hard too, tried cutting back on snacks but still ravenous. About the ankle swelling, mine’s worse after taking stacks, so maybe it’s tied to that? Your point on timing makes sense; I’ve been feelin’ groggy mornings since switchin’ to AM doses. Any others try takin’ it nightly and notice less hunger? Also, what’s a ‘low-dose GHRP’ look like? Gotta keep this stack from eatin’ my bank account."
