Trying MIC + L‑carnitine + B12 shots for stubborn belly fat – any tips on dosing?

I started MIC + L-carnitine + B12 injections about six weeks ago, 1ml twice weekly on monday and thursday. I’m 28, male, living in tokyo, working night shifts as a nurse practitioner so my schedule is weird. 4 kg per week the first three weeks, then it plateaued.
Appetite felt a bit lower in the afternoons but i still get cravings late at night. Energy during workouts seemed a bit steadier, less mid‑session fatigue. Injection site was sore for a day or two each time, no fishy odor or GI issues so far. I’m wondering if bumping to three times a week might help break the plateau or if i should keep the same dose and focus more on diet tweaks.

- casey613: I’ve been running a KLOW stack for knee rehab, and the pattern of a fast start then a plateau is familiar. With MIC + L‑carnitine + B12, the first week you lean into the metabolic kick, then the body just adapts. I’ve found that adding a small tweak to diet, cutting out late‑night carbs and keeping protein up, often nudges the scale again. Bumping the injections to three times a week can be fine if the site pain stays mild, but I’d also look at the timing of the shots relative to your shift; the
- kyle_reads: Thanks for the insight. I’ll try moving the injections to after my shift instead of before, and cut out that late‑night rice and noodles, keep protein over 120 g a day. I’m curious which carb sources you say to avoid first? Imo the timing shift might help jog the metabolism again.
- grinder265: Ngl i’ve had that same plateau with peptides before. Dropping late-night carbs helped me, but shifting injections to morning instead of mid-shift might stabilize metabolism better. Have you tweaked timing or tried a lower dose to test sensitivity? Curious if the cravings align with your shift schedule.
- kyle_reads: Really appreciate the pups. I’ve been injecting at 9 pm on monday and thursday, right before my night shift starts. I did notice the cravings spike after the shift, around 2‑3 am, so the timing might be a real factor. I’ll try shifting the shots to uproot the late‑night carbs dip, maybe 6 am, and see if the plateau pushes back. I’ll alsocoordinates a tiny dose drop to gauge sensitivity. Thanks for the heads‑up.

- grinder265: Appreciate the supplier tip, but I’m sticking with dosing tweaks for now. Have others found success adjusting timing or adding another compound to break plateaus?
- kyle_reads: I did notice the appetite dips helped a little last week but late-night cravings are strong. Should i cut back on carbs after injected days or keep calories steady?
- kyle_reads: I didn’t mention a supplier tip in my post, maybe you saw it elsewhere. For timing i tried moving the thursday shot to friday morning and felt a bit less soreness but weight didn’t budge. I haven’t added another compound yet, thinking about a low dose of l‑carnitine alone on off days to see if it helps cravings. What’s your experience with tweaking injection days versus adding something new?

- kyle_reads: Imo your supplier question seems off-topic, i’m focused on dosing and diet tweaks. For my plateau, i’ve tried adding more protein pre-workout and cutting carbs post-night shifts. Have you adjusted macros or sleep lately? Maybe track hunger logs to see if timing affects cravings?
- nora_ketogen: I’m not supposed to talk about vendors here, but I'm curious, have you tried adjusting the dose or frequency for the plateau? Any changes in appetite or energy?
- kyle_reads: I haven’t changed the dose yet; still 1ml twice weekly. Appetite stays lower in the afternoons but night cravings persist. Energy during workouts feels a bit steadier, less mid‑session fatigue. Thinking about trying three times a week after tightening diet a bit more.
