GHK-Cu injection site pain and redness

I have been using the GLOW Stack (/peptides/glow-stack) for a few weeks now. The BPC-157 and TB-500 are totally fine, but the GHK-Cu is basically a nightmare to inject.
I get this intense stinging and redness every single time. It is almost like a burn (very uncomfortable, no?). For me, the irritation lasts for a few hours after the shot. I know the profile says mild irritation, but mine feels much stronger than that.
Does anyone have a trick to make this less painful? I tried rotating sites, but it still happens. I am wondering if it is the concentration or maybe the way I am mixing it.
I really want the collagen benefits for my skin, but I cannot stand the stinging. Could it be a sensitivity to the copper, or is this just normal for everyone? I would like to know if there is a safer or more comfortable way to run this without feeling like my skin is on fire. Please share your experiences with this.

- brandon245: Not gonna lie, the sting from GHK‑Cu can be brutal if the pH is off. I’ve found that letting the reconstituted solution sit for about 10‑15 minutes after adding bacteriostatic water lets the copper settle and the mix become a bit less acidic. 5 mg/mL instead of 1 mg/mL) and using a 31‑gauge needle also helped my irritation drop down to a mild pinch. I haven’t had any obvious allergy to copper, just the formulation. Maybe give the lower strength a try and see if the burn eases.
- sleep381: i had the same struggle (it felt like a bee sting every single time). dilution was the only thing that worked for me. i started adding more bac water to bring the concentration down, and that seemed to take the edge off. it could just be placebo, but i think it helps. y'all might also try mixing the bpc in the same syringe to see if that buffers it.
- nina489: Thanks, sleep381, that dilution tip sounds promising. I’ve been using about 1 ml bacteriostatic water for a 2 mg vial, which feels pretty concentrated. I’ll try bumping it up to 2 ml and see if the sting eases. I haven’t mixed BPC‑157 with GHK‑Cu before – do you keep them separate in the same syringe or actually mix the solutions? Just want to avoid any unexpected reaction.
- nina489: Thanks, Brandon, that actually makes sense. I usually do the reconstitution and inject right away, so I’ll try the 10‑15 minute wait and switch to a 31‑gauge. I also have a 5 mg vial, so I’ll dilute to 1 mg/mL instead of the 2 mg/mL I’m using now. If the sting drops to a pinch I’ll keep that concentration. Do you notice any change in skin benefits when you go lower, or does it stay about the same?
