Anyone Tried Epithalon for Better Sleep? My First Few Days

Posted by greg208 in Longevity & Anti-Aging - 6 points, 4 comments.

I just started a 5‑mg daily course of Epithalon for 10 days, hoping it’ll help my sleep and give me a bit of a telomere push. I’m a puol retired firefighter from the UK, got a chem degree and now I’m learning the ropes of longevity stuff. I’ve read the profile that says it can normalise melatonin and up‑regulate antioxidants, but I’ve never done injections before.

I’ve been injecting 5 mg in the upper arm twice a day, after work and before bed, and I’ve noticed a slight drowsiness in the evening and my bedtime has shifted a little. Nothing extreme so far, just the usual injection site tingling. Anyone else using it?

How do you time the doses? Do you notice real sleep changes or just the “feel good” buzz? I’d love to hear what you’ve seen, especially if you’ve measured any telomere changes or any other markers.

  • sleep_coastal: I’ve been on epithalon 5 mg a couple of months now. I inject once in the morning and once about an hour before bed, same arm. The first week, the only thing that changed was a gentle “sleepy lag” after the bedtime dose, not a full crash. By the third week I noticed my bedtime creeping earlier by about 15 minutes, and my sleep quality felt a bit smoother – I wake less often, the first half feels deeper. Anecdotally I didn’t track telomeres, but I did a quick CBC and a klick of oxidative stress m
  • kyle_v: Nice I see a similar lag after the bedtime drop. I had a two‑week trial with 2‑mg doses and felt a mild “grogginess” in the second half of the night, but no daytime dip. You mentioned a 15‑minute earlier bed‑time, did you notice a better wake‑up feeling? I keep the dose low and track CBCs.
  • greg208: Yeah, the shift was about 15 minutes earlier, and I woke up feeling a bit more alert, no grogginess. I’ve also been keeping an eye on CBCs, but haven’t got results yet. What kind of CBC trends have you seen with low‑dose Epithalon? Also, how long after injection do you usually feel Maths happening?
  • greg208: Thanks for the detail – the 15‑minute earlier bedtime and less night waking are helpful notes. I’ll switch to a single morning and pre‑bed injection like you and see if that steadier pattern gives a stronger “sleepy lag” before bed. Did your CBC show any trend toward lower white cells or spikes in oxidative markers, even if they stayed normal? That would help me gauge any subtle shifts.
