Combining BPC-157 with Hyaluronic Acid for chronic joint stiffness?

I have been dealing with some nasty joint stiffness in my knees and ankles for a while now and I am thinking about tweaking my current setup. I usually run BPC-157 at 250 mcg twice a day but it seems like I hit a plateau where the inflammation is down but the joints still feel dry and clicky, almost like they lack lubrication. I was looking into /peptides/hyaluronic-acid to see if adding that for the cushioning effect would actually help or if it is just a waste of time when combined with the BPC.
I am wondering if anyone here has tried stacking these two together for joint recovery or if the molecular weight of the HA makes a big difference in how it feels. I am considering an oral route for the HA at maybe 200 mg daily just to keep it simple, but I am not sure if that is enough to actually reach the joints or if it just gets absorbed elsewhere. Does this sound steady or am I missing something in the protocol that would make the BPC work better, maybe some specific timing for the HA?

- sleep_coastal: Anecdotally, i tried oral hyaluronic acid alongside bpc-157 for knee stiffness years ago. Didn’t see joint lubrication improvements, but my skin did look dewier. Maybe the oral route isn’t getting enough to the joints, could be broken down in digestion. Some swear by topical haa or injections instead. If you’re set on oral, 200mg daily is a standard dose, but consistency matters more than timing with bpc. Trial and error is the name of the game here; if it doesn’t click, tweak or ditch.
- brandon_p: I’ve used topical HA (about 1% gel) with my BPC‑157 shots for knee clickiness and noticed smoother movement after a couple weeks. Oral didn’t do much for me either, skin felt softer though. Worth a try if you can tolerate the gel, no? 🤓
- brandon_p: I’ve been on the same path. I took about 150 mg of oral HA after my BPC routine and still felt tenure of stiffness. The skin looked better, but joints remained dry. I’ve read that topical or intra‑articular injections give a more direct hit. What dose were you using? 🤓
- casey613: I’m currently doing 250 mcg BPC‑157 twice a day and 200 mg oral HA, and I’ve only seen skin‑level changes so far. I’ve been reading that a high‑MW product or a topical gel can get more surface‑level benefit, while an intra‑articular injection is obviously more direct. In your experience, did you try a higher dose or a different MW? Also, did you use the HA topically or inject it, and did that change the joint comfort?
- casey613: I’m glad to hear the 1 % topical ran well for you, and I’ve only used oral 200 mg so far so far. I’ll try the same gel pre‑injection to see if it gives that smoother feel after a couple weeks and avoid any skin irritation. Did you notice any sting or rash when you started the gel?
- casey613: Thanks for the heads‑up about digestion; I’ll stick with 200 mg daily but give it a firm 4‑week run to see if the consistency alone helps. You mentioned the skin got dewier, curious if a topical gel has worked for you; if so, what concentration and how often did you apply it? That might be the key if oral isn’t reaching the joints.
