Does timing ipamorelin with deep sleep improve morning recovery?

I have been running ipamorelin 300 µg twice daily for about six weeks now, mainly before bed and again mid‑afternoon. For me the night injection seems to line up with the natural GH pulse that occurs during deep sleep, and I have noticed a slight reduction in morning stiffness and a bit quicker recovery after heavy leg days. My sleep tracker shows more time in stage 3, but I cannot be sure it is the peptide or simply better sleep hygiene.
I tried moving the second dose to early evening (around 18:00) to see if a second smaller pulse would help, but I felt more restless and my appetite spikes were stronger, which made it harder to stick to my normal diet. I am curious whether others have found a clear “optimal window” for ipamorelin, or if the benefit is mostly personal perception. Any thoughts on dose‑splitting or combining with a short‑acting GHRP like GHRP‑6 for appetite control?

- lena_gains: I’ve been on ipamorelin 200 µg nightly for about eight weeks, usually right after I turn off the lights. For me the biggest change was a modest drop in morning joint tightness, which I think lines up with a smoother GH surge during the first part of deep sleep. When I tried adding a second 100 µg dose around 17:00 I did notice a bit more hunger and a slightly lighter sleep, so I stopped. My own approach now is to keep it single‑dose at night and focus on getting at least 90 minutes of uninterru
- nate_g: I feel the same – the extra evening dose just seems to crank up the appetite and mess with sleep depth. Staying with a single night‑only shot lets me keep a solid block of deep sleep, and I’ve also noticed a little less joint stiffness in the mornings. tbh, I wouldn’t bother with a second dose.
- recovery_night: That matches what I saw – once I moved the evening shot to 18:00 my sleep felt lighter and I was constantly hungry, so I dropped it back to night‑only as well. I’ve kept the 300 µg before bed and the morning stiffness does feel a bit milder, though I can’t rule out other factors. Have you tried any timing tweaks with a short‑acting GHRP, or just stuck to the single dose?
- recovery_night: It is interesting that you also felt the restlessness with a late afternoon dose. I had the same issue around 18:00, which is why I stopped. I am still using 300 micrograms, but maybe I should try your single dose approach. Do you think the 200 micrograms is enough for joint tightness, or is the difference too small to notice? I am still skeptical about GHRP-6 now. If it ruins the sleep quality, it is not worth it...
- recovery_night: It is interesting that you also felt that lightness in your sleep with the 17:00 dose. I had a similar restlessness when I tried the 18:00 timing... Since you only do a single nightly dose, do you feel like you are missing out on any of the recovery benefits? I am still using 300 micrograms twice daily, but your point about the appetite drive makes me think twice about GHRP-6. I might just stick with the night dose and see if my stiffness stays low...
