PEG-MGF and joint aches or fatigue?

I have been looking into PEG-MGF /peptides/pegylated-mgf for some systemic recovery since the local stuff degrades way too fast to be practical and I am wondering if anyone else has dealt with the joint aches mentioned in the descriptions. For me it seems like any time I push the intensity in the gym while using growth factors I end up with this weird dull ache in the elbows and knees and I cannot tell if it is just the increased load or if the peptide is actually causing some kind of fluid shift or inflammation lah. I also noticed a bit of a crash in my energy levels a few hours after dosing which felt like fatigue but could just be my diet being off that day.

Does this usually settle down after the body adapts or should I be spacing out the doses more to avoid that dip? I am trying to figure out if this is a common reaction or if I should be worried about how it is interacting with my current recovery stack because I really want to keep the satellite cell activation going without feeling like I am eighty years old the next morning.

  • medic738: I’ve tried PEG‑MGF in a similar setting. The dull ache in elbows and knees usually came three to four days after a dose, and it got worse if I pushed the gym session hard the same day. My HRV dropped a bit and sleep was slightly off, but the next day it flattened out. I ended up spacing the injections to every 48 h and pre‑worked the joints with foam rolls and a light warm‑up. The crash in energy was more pronounced when my protein was low that day, so I added a post‑workout shake. It’s probabl

I’ll also keep a protein shake right after the workout, since that seemed to blunt the crash for you. My question is, did the daily ache just shift to day two or did it actually diminish in intensity with the new schedule, and how did your HRV trend over the week?
  • casey613: Sounds solid, medic738 – spacing to 48 h and pre‑working the joints does seem to tame that dull ache. I’ve had a similar HRV dip after a hard lift, so I guess it’s a load‑response thing. Just curious, did you find any benefit from upping water intake right around the dose, or was protein the main factor?
