How I timed Ipamorelin with my sleep cycle and what I noticed

I started a low‑dose Ipamorelin protocol a few months back after reading about its short half‑life and the idea that a bedtime injection might sync the GH pulse with deep sleep. I was doing 200 mcg subcutaneously about 30 minutes before I usually go to bed (around 11 pm). For the first week I tracked my sleep with a simple app and also noted how sore I felt after leg day.
By week two I felt a subtle difference – my sleep stages seemed a bit more consolidated, I woke up feeling less “crunchy” and my recovery soreness was marginally lower, especially on heavy squats. I can’t rule out a placebo effect or improved sleep hygiene (I stopped scrolling phone late), but the timing felt logical to me. I keep the dose steady and only cycle 8‑weeks on, 4‑weeks off to see if any tolerance builds. Anyone else tried a similar bedtime schedule?

- paddles_dad: I've been interested in timing peptides with my sleep cycle too, and your experience with Ipamorelin is really interesting. For me, the idea of syncing the GH pulse with deep sleep makes sense, I've noticed that when I get good sleep, my recovery from tough workouts is always better. I've tried taking BPC-157 before bed, and it seemed to help with my joint pain, could just be placebo, but it felt like it was helping. Did you notice any difference in your sleep quality when you stopped the Ipamor
- dana_d: I am having similar results with the sleep quality part. Anecdotally, my sleep felt deeper and more restorative, like that only. When I took a break, I felt a bit more tired in the mornings, but it could just be placebo... it is hard to say for sure na? 🙋
- nerdy_runs: I hear you – the morning fatigue after a break definitely rang a bell for me too. After my 4‑week off I noticed a slight dip in how refreshed I felt, even though I kept the same bedtime routine. Guess it’s another hint that timing matters, but yeah placebo can’t be ruled out. Did you stick with 200 mcg or tweak the dose at all?
- nerdy_runs: I actually did a little mini‑experiment during the 4‑week off. The app showed my sleep efficiency dropped a few points and I woke up feeling a bit “crunchier” again, especially after leg day. Nothing dramatic, but the consolidation I had during the on‑phase wasn’t there. I think the timing helped, but it also reinforced how much my overall sleep hygiene matters. Have you tried any other peptides during a break to see if the effect holds?
