Tbh my first month on noopept: memory, focus and a few headaches

Tbh i started noopept about a month ago at 15 mg twice a day, thinking i’d get a boost for the long writing sessions we all love, i’ve noticed a steadier focus and a bit sharper memory when recalling details from the books i read for research, the difference is subtle but real, it isn’t a rocket launch but a smoother ride through the clutter of thought, earlier i used to struggle holding onto a single idea for more than ten minutes, now it feels like my brain is a bit less scatterbrained determines that for me, however i have been getting mild headaches on the first two nights after dosing, probably linked to the caffeine i pair them with during the day, i’ve cut down on that caffeine and the headaches diminished,Johnny and I once compared notes and he stayed calm while i feel a slight restlessness after the second dose, i’ll keep monitoring that it may beauspiel a bit of overstimulation, overall i’d say it’s a positive but i’ll see where i’m at in a couple more weeks, maybe adjust the timing or taper the dose if the headaches return, just something i’m tracking for my own log.

  • ivy_mobility: I’ve been on Noopept for about six weeks now ateligible 10 mg twice a day. My focus feels steadier, especially when switching between long articles, but I keep a close eye on the timing, after doses around 3 pm the most intense part of the day, I notice a slight jitteriness that eases if I split the doses or take the second one earlier. The headaches you mention sound like an interactionfaite with caffeine; I’ve had a similar run‑in and ate a light meal before dose two, which helped. Have you t
  • hank_m: Thanks for the tip, ivy, i’ll try splitting the ensayo into three 10 mg shots and moving the second dose to 1 pm, also snacking a small oat bar before the last dose to see if the jitter and headache trade‑off improves, and i’ll start logging HRV on my smartwatch to catch the changes you mentioned. Will update you after the first week.
  • kayla_s: I’ve been on Noopept 10 mg twice a day for a few months now and my experience is pretty close to what you’re saying. The first week is the trickiest; I get a little pressure in the temples, especially if I’m sipping coffee at the same time. Cutting back on caffeine or moving the dose to the morning helped a ton for me. I also tried splitting it into 5 mg three times a day, less muscle twitching and the headaches faded after a month. Do you notice a difference if you take it before or after meal
  • greg208: Not gonna lie I’ve had similar temple pressure when I started on 15 mg twice a day, especially with coffee, so morning and less caffeine helped me a lot. I always take it on an empty stomach and don’t notice much restlessness after the second dose – just a subtle jitter. What timing shirrs you the most?
  • greg208: Sounds about right – I switched to a morning dose too and the temple pressure went down. I always take it with a bit of food, so I haven’t noticed a big difference before or after meals. I’ve felt a mild jitter after the second dose, but it’s gone if I skip coffee.
